Aww, that sucks, hope everything works out :)

I've gotten a job working with kids in an after school program. It's loads of fun and I love every day I go to work. The negative side to it is that it made me hate college more so and made me even worse in studying ><

But, there's no way I'm ever going to quit my job because I'm simply too emotionally attached to it, hehe.

Okay, just making sure. Well, can't expect everyone to like the same music, it's part of our personality. In fact, contemporary Filipino music is the only musical interest my brother and I share, besides that, what we listen to is VERY different and we think what the other listens to is annoying (he thinks my upbeat pop music is annoying and I think his pointless rap music is annoying).

I listened to the Anak song you were talking about, although I thought I downloaded the original version but I ended up getting the English. Anywho, I didn't really like it. Maybe I'll try downloading another version.

Thanks, I'm going to try my best and hopefully earn scholarships (for once) so I could help with the family funds (and so I could go to a university). I really want to go back to the Philippines.

Anywho, I've always liked Filipino ballads and the occasional good upbeat song, but if you're talking about Filipino Folk music, I just find that music very silly. My favorite Filipina singer is Kyla then Jaya. I've heard of him so I'll download his Anak song and see if I like it.

Well, at least I was able to get gifts for my cousins and friends there, and it was cheap, we didn't even need to haggle, that's how cheap it was.

I'm okay now because of my recent obsession with Pinoy music and singers. Whenever I discover a new song I like and start listening to a different singer who I turn out to like a lot, it puts me in a good mood, and this time I found several songs that I like a lot and two singers/bands that I love so it countered my grief of leaving the PI. Also, there's that hope that my mom might succeed in earning enough money for us to go back next year.

It sucks that school started while we were there. My family wanted to come with us to Baguio but because the kids had school, only one of my uncles and my most annoying cousin had to come. p(ToT)q

I'm really hooked on youtube ever since I started listening to Kyla and Sugar Pop >:D

I used to be a big American Idol junkie but now I'm hooked on Pinoy music (which I totally don't mind).

We stayed in Angeles for 3 weeks of the time we were there and I didn't mind because I loved spending time with my family there. In the second week, we went to Baguio which I hated since my cousins didn't get to come. The only part I liked about it was buying pasulubong for my friends and cousins.

After another week in Angeles, we visited my family in Quezon, which was great since I wanted to see them again, but we only stayed there for 10 days, which didn't bother me too much because even though we were more comfortable there, I only had three cousins there, all three being kids and only two that I actually play with as opposed to my 14 cousins on my mom's side in Angeles so I was for going back.

I was able to go to SM Clark, North Edsa, Papanga, and Mall of Asia while I was there, along with Glorietta and Trinoma.

Our first day shopping there, we ate at Greenwich and it was better than I remembered, but it was really greasy, so that was the last time we ate there. We also ate at Jolliebee just for tradition, haha. Chow King is a good place when you really don't know where to eat.

Got some bootleg DVDs there, I got Death Note ep. 1-23/Live Action Movie, Hunter x Hunter entire series (without the OVAS T_T) and Detective School Q Live Action Movie.

I learned more Tagalog phrases while there but my understanding skills are still the same.

Oh before we left Quezon, I discovered Pop Star Kids and back here in Hawaii, I started watching performances of Sugar Pop and a couple of the current Pop Star Kids and got hooked. I think they're really amazing, I also started listening to Jaya and Kyla more since they've had performances with them. Well, I already like Kyla before going to the PI.

Yeah, it's obvious I had an amazing time and my mom and I definitely want to come back next year. If my mommy wants, my mom will try and get so I'm excited. In the near future, you'll see me posting portraits of my cousins and nephew since I was able to get pictures of them.

I had tons of fun in the Philippines and dreaded leaving. I miss my family so much it's keeping me from being happy to be back.
